What our Interns Say
I interned at Parado Power because it is a small but mighty gym environment. The staff are friendly and confident, and they put in the work to ensure a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere for their clients. People of all ages were working towards varying health and fitness goals with the trainers which inspired me with my goal of becoming a physical therapist and a powerlifter. This internship is for anyone who wants to learn about personal training, gain confidence in a personal training career, or expand their practical knowledge of exercises and modifications - big bonus if you like dogs!

This course and internship alone has given me more hands-on knowledge than anything that I have done to this point in my career and I am grateful to have done my hours with them. Seeing how this gym is run as a community rather than a commercial gym really allowed me to become more invested in the progress of all the clients. This has been an amazing opportunity for me to learn under the best and has taught me so much not only about fitness, but professionalism and allowing for there to be a friendship that comes out of said professionalism. I will now carry on as a personal trainer in California more confident as ever!

This semester I have learned so much the Parado Power team! Watching them train clients was like watching an artist create a masterpiece. Wasn't sure what to expect coming in as an aspiring chiropractor, but I was very satisfied with the knowledge gained, and the special in-person workshops gave me a much deeper understanding of fundamental movement and exercises. Thank you again for an irreplaceable experience!

I would recommend this internship to anyone who is willing to learn and wants to become a personal trainer or even any professional in the athletic or educational field. Even if you don't want to be a personal trainer, there is still a lot you could learn and take with you to a future career. You can learn a lot about professionalism as well as have a fun and enjoyable experience. There was never a day where I wasn't smiling or having fun, I really enjoyed my days there.
